Victor and Norma presented IASC donations to Dr. Steven Flanagan

The giving spirit of the holidays was palpable on December 2 at the Intimate Apparel Square Club’s annual holiday party for the children of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. Gathering at Rusk’s Horizon House recreation room, IASC members visited with the children and the Rusk rehabilitation therapy team as Santa Claus Gary Hughes and Mrs. Claus Joyce Barron presented them presents and DJ Mouse spun today’s hottest pop tunes. Later, club members convened at Trattoria Alba for the presentation by IASC President Norma Reinhardt Mascarotti of checks for monies raised at the November 3 H.U.G. Award Gala for the various pediatric services overseen by Dr. Steven Flanagan, Dr. Joan Gold and Marianne Hardart. Maidenform’s Chief Marketing Officer Lucille DeHart conveyed congratulatory remarks to the club members and Rusk team from H.U.G. honoree Maurice S. Reznik, CEO of Maidenform Brands Inc. Also accepting congratulatory sentiments was IASC public relations advisor Edgar Trinidad, who was presented the 2010 Al Jaffin Award by Roslyn Harte in recognition of his notable service to the club and its mission since 2007.
